Z-Thru License

Z-Thru is proprietary software. It is free of charge but it is not open source.

1. Permission to use. You may install and use the Z-Thru browser extension, as distributed by Sirux through the Chrome Web Store or an official release, for personal and commercial work at no cost.

2. Restrictions. Unless the law allows it despite this restriction, you may not copy, modify, redistribute, sell, sublicense, or publish the software or its source code, reverse engineer it, or remove this notice or the third-party notices. Access to this repository does not grant any of these rights.

3. Third-party components. Z-Thru includes components under their own licenses, including axe-core (Mozilla Public License 2.0), React, and React DOM (MIT). Their terms are reproduced in THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.txt in every release, and nothing in this license limits your rights under them.

4. Not a compliance tool. Z-Thru reports automated accessibility findings and prompts for human review. Its results are not legal advice and do not establish that any page complies with the WCAG, the ADA, or any other law or standard. You are responsible for your own content and its accessibility.

5. No warranty. THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

6. Limitation of liability. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AUTHOR OR SIRUX BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES, OR OTHER LIABILITY, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM, OUT OF, OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SOFTWARE OR ITS USE, INCLUDING ANY RELIANCE ON ITS RESULTS.

7. Termination. These permissions end automatically if you break these terms. Uninstalling the extension ends your use.

8. Governing law. This license is governed by the laws of the State of California, United States.
